  • Researched neurons in epilepsy mouse models.
  • Used PCR and western blot techniques to synthesize data.

“Investigating the effects of an Autism Spectrum Disorder model on NLGN1 ”

Student Research Team under Dr. Larimore     January 2022- May 2022

  • Research neuronal cascades on PTEN KO mouse models
  • Develop a semester-long project in a student-led team to study amounts of NLGN1. 
  • Analyzed data through Western Blot experiments. 
  • Submitted and presented research to Agnes Scott Spring Annual Research Conference (SpARC) and Agnes Scott Annual Scotties for Neuroscience Conference. 

Culturelle Kids Purely Probiotic Effectiveness

Student Research Team under Dr. Robic     August 2021- December 2021

  • Developed a semester-long project on simulated stomach research to find the effectiveness of a children’s probiotic. 
  • Used serial dilutions and Petri plate growth to analyze probiotic growth. 
  • Converted data to a full project comparing probiotics to natural alternatives. 
  • Submitted and presented research to SpARC.
