Milo Beauchamp is currently a Senior studying biology at Agnes Scott College with a minor in Environmental and Sustainability Studies. His expected graduation date is May of 2023 and he is currently planning on going to a grad school program in August of 2024.

He is passionate about Cellular and Molecular Biology, sustainability issues, and epigenomic research. In their free time, they foster cats and work in activist areas for LGBTQ issues. He likes to support his community in a variety of ways as well as to work professionally to further the field of cellular biology.

In the past, Milo has done research on a variety of topics. His research has included the molecular components of neuroscience, the social effects of excluding female patients from science, and the connections between public health and the environment. While he specializes in his research area in the field of molecular sciences, he thinks it is important for every scientist to take an interdisciplinary approach to their work and think about it in an ethical and moral context.

Milo looks forward to continuing on this line of research by presenting a project on the relationship between the microbiota of the small intestine and the protein levels in the brain in an epilepsy model mouse.
